The Fit Christian originally began as a newsletter for the Fit4Jesus website (www.fit4jesus.com) in May 2003. On its one-year publication anniversary it was officially named The Fit Christian and was redesigned.
Since then, the newsletter outgrew itself and I began publishing in PDF format in August of 2004. It soon became an online magazine with its own home on the world wide web with the Holiday 2004 issue, breaking new ground with the new year. Then The Fit Christian went to Macromedia Flashpaper making it load much easier and faster than a PDF.
In 2006 His Work Christian Publishing (www.hisworkpub.com) took over the publication of The Fit Christian making it possible to someday go into print (in the Lord's time).
Our subscriber list grows every month and The Fit Christian continues to be free for all with the help of God and loving donations of time, expertise, writing and more.
Much thanks goes to our writers, some who faithfully provide articles and recipes for every issue--you are appreciated. We also appreciate our advertisers and all who donate to keep The Fit Christian a free publication.
But especially, we must thank our readers and subscribers, without you there would be no purpose for this magazine. Thank you Lord, for bringing them our way.
